Question: Lynx shower gel, itchy face?

so last night i had a bath and used this shower gel i got for xmas, i put some on a flannel and washed me face with it, about 10 minutes after i got out the bath and my face started to itch, i didnt pay much attention and then today (the next day) my right check feels like it is swollen and a little bit of pain, i dont really care though i can get thought it.. what is the cause of this? isit the shower gel and if so how can i get rid of this?

It could be an allergic reaction - you may need to see a doctor or a pharmacist for advice.

The itchiness sounds like dryness though - body shower gel is not meant to be used on your face (and definitely not with a flannel) it is way to harsh for your skin. So you could try putting a decent moisturiser on and is if that helps with the itchiness.

In the future buy a gentle face cleanser, squirt a little in your palm and rub your hands together. Then wash your face. This will break the ingredients down and make it gentle for your skin. Always put a moisturiser on afterwards - esp if you have hot showers.
