Kris Melo,
As referred to in the answers of both ‘carsonbizotica’ and ‘Just a Girl,’ it would be unusual for mustard to have such a lasting effect. The fact that you state that you have tried various remedies which have had no beneficial effect, indicates that you may have an infection. You do not mention any ill-effects other than some phlegm in your throat. There are many causes for phlegm in the throat,- [even for the sensation of phlegm, when no phlegm exists, which used to be known by the impolite Latin phrase "globus hystericus." This means "hysterical ball," reflecting the fact that doctors used to think that this problem was ‘all in your head!’ Nowadays, we rarely blame the patient's psyche for this symptom, and it is known by the more politically correct term "globus,"] - some of the possible causes include - throat infection, the commonly infected structures include the tonsils, pharynx, lingual tonsils and adenoids. Gastroesophageal reflux disease – GERD, this is arguably the most common explanation. Stomach acid and digestive enzymes "wash up," or reflux, into the lower throat and larynx. Unlike the stomach lining, these tissues are not suited for acid and digestive enzymes, and inflammation results. Rhinosinusitis, here infected mucus from the sinuses and nasal cavities drain down the back of the throat, irritating everything in its path. Patients with sinusitis also complain of facial pressure or pain, nasal congestion and postnasal drainage. In other words, if you had sinusitis, you would cough something up when you clear your throat.

I think you should go to the doctor about this. I don't think this can really be a burn from last week because the digestive system (including the mouth) heals extremely quickly, often within the same day as the injury occurred. If you're in this much pain I think you should get it looked at. :)

How do you burn your throat with mustard? That kinda sounds like a cold dude
