Those young athletes who have died within the past few months, has it been becau!

Question: Those young athletes who have died within the past few months, has it been because of the same heart problems?
I'm 24 years old, not athletic, but still quite active with walking around and other simple activities. I wonder this because every time I fight my older brother, my heart starts to ache severly afterwards. Its hard to breath & hard to move. I'm still breathing heavily and it has been about 20 minutes since the fight.
I haven't any insurance to see a doctor, but if I should be concerned, I will find the finances to get this looked at... should I be concerned?

Answers:

If you are not athletic, when you do strenuous exercise such as fighting with your brother, your heart and lungs are complaining that they are not conditioned for this much activity. These symptoms mean you are not participating in enough strenuous activity per day to keep your heart and lungs conditioned and you can change this. Start walking - briskly for 20-30 minute per day. At first, you will be very tired and short of breath and your chest may hurt - build up gradually to a fast pace - you should be sweating. This will get both your heart and lungs in better physical shape and then, when you do something strenuous, you will not have the chest pain or shortness of breath you are experiencing now. All of this is probably due to you not being in good physical shape. And, if you smoke, it makes all of this worse than if you did not.
