Was I misdiagnosed with having the h1n1 when it was really...?!

Question: Was I misdiagnosed with having the h1n1 when it was really...?
Since the beginning of last week I've had a sore throat and mucus that I swallowed from my nose. (Yearly I get an infection if I even ingest a small amount of it, because I don't blow my nose enough to easily prevent such an infection).
Well, last friday I felt horrible. I could barely stay awake because I felt so tired and my head was hurting and my lower back was killing me as well as my sore throat so I stayed in bed all day and night and could barely stand upright when walking. I also had chills although I felt heat sometimes. The following day(yesterday) I had a high temperature of 103.3 all day since I woke up and nothing would bring it down. I went to the doctor and they explained I had acute sinusitis and possibly but not confirmed UTI, and that I tested positive for Influenza A after a nose swab. Today, I'm feeling great and I'm walking and eating fine, plenty of water all weekend, and my temperature has been 97 all day. I just have coughing and mucus that I do expell when I get the chance.
My main question(s) is: Is this still the middle of suffering the Influenza A virus or am I at the stage where it's going away? Do you believe a doctor's office could accidently misdiagnose me with the 24 hour virus?
I know I'm likely still infectious either outcome.

Answers:

The acute sinusitis was probably from the flu. And yes, you may have had the h1n1. That high fever and back pain etc, all sounds like the flu.

I have a question for you. Did you take any fever reducer like tylenol or ibuprofen? I ask because I don't take fever reducer and my flu and colds go fast like that. Extra miserable but fast.

Anyway, glad to hear you're feeling better.
