Can non-purging bulimia result in a heart attack?!

Question: Can non-purging bulimia result in a heart attack?
I'm aware that a heart attack can happen to anyone at any time, but I've heard that purging in bulmia does something that can cause a person to have a heart attack.

So I'm curious... If you don't purge (non-purging bulimia) are your risks still high to have a heart attack?

Oh, and most people dont know about it but non-purging bulimia does exist. Instead of purging you fast, restrict your diet or over exercise.

Also what are some warning sides thst bulimia is getting to serious? Thanks.

Answers:

any kind of eating disorder, whether you're starving, puking, exercising excessively, or over eating- seriously screws up your body and puts a tremendous strain on your organs.
even if you're exercising instead of vomiting, you're NOT doing your body any favors. youre over-working everything, and depleting your body of the nutrients it needs to keep your organs healthy before you even have time to absorb them.

so yes, you're still at risk of a heart attack.

warning signs that it's getting serious are-
your skin, getting dry and flakey, and peeling.
your hair thinning, or more of it falling out in your hairbrush than usual
your fingernails are brittle
you notice any kind of bloating or water retention in your belly or face
eyes sunken in, or yellow ish
sleepy, lethargic, moodiness, irritability
skin is cold to touch, or if you feel very warm / cold for no reason
trouble going to the bathroom

the list goes on.
maybe you should do some research and consider seeing a professional for some help
