Bladder Infection after sex?!

Question: Bladder Infection after sex?
I just got married two weeks ago; I saved myself for marriage. Now I am battling a really painful bladder infection. I've heard that women get bladder infections from intercourse. Are there any home remedies to cure the infection? Anything I can do to prevent getting them in the future? Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Answers:

First, maintain good hygiene, clean up as soon as you can after sex, preferably go to the bathroom (urinate without stopping) to clean anything that may have accidentally entered. Second you can drink cranberry juice, they are good to cure and help prevent bladder infections. But if you want it to go away faster you can go to the doctors for antibiotics.

Yes, Cranberry juice will help. I was having really bad testicular pain. I thought I had prostate Cancer. After running a series of tests. I found it was just a bladder infection. I was told that I had 2 Hydrocells in my bladder and that they usually healed themselves. It is better now. My advice is to drink plenty of water and cranberry juice. If you drink Caffine, I would drop it until you get better. See a doctor if the pain persists.

Get well soon!

Try to stay as clean as possible, Wash yourself really well down there when you are in the shower/bath. You're probably going to have to go to the docs and get a prescription in order to get past the infection.

I'm a Nursing Major, Good luck!
