how do u get rid of a hickie?!

Question: How do u get rid of a hickie?
k so my boyfriend left the biggest hickie on my neck and i have no diea how to hid it from my dad. coverup isnt working.. help!!

Answers:

Water proof cover up in a shade lighter than your skin. Dab it on ONLY on the hickie. When dry, use your normal liquid foundation to thinly pat onto hickie & surrounding skin. Blend until it look hard to tell there's a hickie but the discoloration from something is noticeable. Finally, brush on loose face powder to hickie. If it's on the neck, blend the powder all over neck & face. With quick glances & watching your body posture so as hide the hickie, your Dad may end up thinking that you didn't do such a good job on your make-up today. And that's the thought you want on his mind, not the hickie. Should he ask about your make up, tell him you read about some new make up tips & wanted to try them out. (Which you just did by reading this answer.) Make a joke about how you don't think you executed the details well. Maybe he'll feel you're already too embarrassed for him to say anything else about your appearance.
That's what worked for me at a job that was not hickie tolerant, but my spouse was marking me 3 times a week. (Newlyweds, ya' know.)
The make up & wearing collard shirts and scarfs around the neck at the same time is even better.
Got long hair? Keep it swept to that side of the neck.
Have a stern talk with your boyfriend. Let him know if he's not ready to explain his actions to your dad, then you aren't either so no more evidence.

Well, since it's similar to a bruise you could try putting a hot compress on it.Not sure how effectively it'd work, but a nurse recently told me that with bruises if you put a hot compress on a bruise it causes the white blood cells to eat up the red blood cells that are causing it.
