What is diphenhydramine and what does it help with?!

Question: What is diphenhydramine and what does it help with?
Answers:

Diphenhydramine is more commonly known as Benadryl. It helps with allergies by blocking histamine.

By allergies, I mean it can help with mild to moderate seasonal allergies, and allergic reactions to bug bites, medications, and some other things. Severe allergies to things like bee stings and peanuts are best treated with epinepherine.

It can also be used to prevent allergic reactions and/or nausea. It can be coupled with chemotherapy, or various other in-hospital treatments.

Its basically the asprin of allergies.

It is the active ingredient in over the counter Benadryl. It helps with allergies.
