Answers:

Yes. Everything you've described sounds like a sinus infection. You should see a doctor ASAP, and get a scrip for an antibiotic. I've dealt with sinus infections for almost 10 years at this point, and my sinusitis killer of choice is a Z-pak, a.k.a. azithromycin. You take 2 pills the first day, 1 pill for the next 4 days.

I usually start feeling better by day 2, but remember no matter what scrip you get and no matter how good you feel, finish out the antibiotics! Or it could come back, stronger and worse.

Definetly seems like a bacterial infection sincevit is now yellow not clear. If your parents aren't taking you seriously, a very effective home remedy is to rinse your sinuses with saline. Saline can be bought at a pharmacy $5 or so ready to use or you can make your own by using 8oz of boiled water, 1/8 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Mix well. You would need to stand over the sink, tilt your head sideways and squirt it in the top nostril to let it run out the other nostril. Repeat for the othe side. Do this every 2- 4 hours for a couple days. Do not use the same batch of saline the next day. Make it fresh each day. It works pretty well if you can stand it even without antibiotics. Also gargle with Listerine or similar mouthwash or salt water every 2-4 hours. This will reduce the infection and give your body a fighting chance. A nasal decongestant with an antihistamine like Mucinex Kids for colds would help too. Hope you feel better soon.
