Can you have sex without a condom?!

Question: Can you have sex without a condom?
I KNOW that you can, but what I mean is this: I only found out about 1 year 1/2 ago that sex with even one person for the rest of your life could still put you at risk for STDs. Does that mean that married people who've only had sex with each other still use condoms unless they're trying for a baby or just don't feel like using one? That would kind of suck :(

Answers:

If you are married....and you have each only had sex with each other...no other partners EVER. Then your risk of contracting an STD is almost nonexistent.

Married people who don't want a baby can use a variety of methods:

-Condoms/Diaphragms
-Birth control pill/injection..etc.
-IUD
-Spermicides
-Pull out (not fool proof and not easy)
-Surgical sterilization

If your married and you partner has had sex with other people and may be at risk for STD's then yes...use a condom.

Kind of a weird question....

Unprotected sex even once can give a person a STD, but your either get a STD from the encounter or you don't. If you don't get an STD right away, there is no longer any risk from that particular encounter. If a person gets an STD from that one encounter, and the STD is treatable, then there is no further risk from that one encounter once the infection goes away. Only if a person picks up a STD that never goes away, such as herpes, HPV, or HIV, would it be a life-long problem.

Married people where one partner is infected with a lifelong STD have to choose between giving the STD to their partner or always having protected sex. That more or less eliminates the possibility of conceiving a child through intercourse. Artificial insemination would often be the only way to conceive a child without infecting a spouse, and this is not an option if the male has HIV.

Actually, having sex with people who have STDs puts you at risk of STDs. Most couples in monogamous relationships don't use condoms unless there is a specific disease issue or condoms are their preferred method of contraception.

No...married people often use birth control or have surgeries to render them infertile (which can be reversed). If people are in a committed relationship, it's fine for them to go without condoms unless they're trying for a child.

i never use a condom and me and my gf have been together for 5 years we started having sex in 8th grade and never used a condom and she never got pregnant

yes you can.I cant really take birth control pills because i am overweight but i only use condoms even though my partner has only had sex with me.

Which is what you should do if you do not want to use a condom

married couples still use condoms if they're not on birth control
