GAS OR HEART ATTACK??? PLEASE HELP?!

so about 45 minutes ago, i had a sudden sharp stabbing pain in my chest. It was more to the center of my chest, and i couldn't take deep breaths because it hurt. Naturally, i freaked out. I ran to go tell my dad, he tried to calm me down and the pain went away after maybe a minute and a half possibly two. I don't know if it was a heart attack because i didn't have any other symptoms, no heart palpitations, no arm pain, no jaw pain or pain in between my shoulder blades, nor was i lightheaded. still very scary. my dad says its probably gas, and i think he might be right. because today all i had until almost 6 this evening was a piece of gum (was very busy), then for dinner i had some soup which was sort of salty and a mug of tea and a half a glass of soda (with caffeine). now, i know that gum on an empty stomach is bad news, plus soda is even worse. so maybe i do have gas? i don't know. Im super sensitive to caffeine, my heart gets really jumpy, but i don't think half a cup of soda would effect me. my diet is normally like this, no breakfast, no lunch, pig out during dinner, mostly because im mega busy. Also my bra has been super tight on me lately, not sure if that's a factor. Im super scared, im only 19 and i only way 115. i get winded pretty easily because i don't exercise a lot, but i would love to if i had the time. i tried some plyometrics over spring break last week, so swamped with college i hardly have time to do anything. anyway, please tell me where you think the chest pains might have came from, gas or something else?
