my leg keeps involuntarily shaking?!

Question: My leg keeps involuntarily shaking?
if im sitting down and i have my heal off of the ground my leg will shake by itself pretty violently. so i try to sit with my feet flat on the ground but im sortof short so its hard. And even when i try to stop it from shaking, it wont, it will just shake a little less. It is always my right leg and it just so happens to be the leg where my knee cracks alot just from walking.
do you think there's anything wrong with it?

Answers:

You would need to be evaluated by a neurologist to determine the cause. Its possible the problem could originate in the knee maybe by something pressing against a nerve or stretching a tendon. Its also possible that there could some sort of neurological problem anywhere from the knee to the brain itself.

It might be worthwhile doing some leg stretching exercises to see if it helps. If stretching helps, the problem is solved by stretching regularly. If stretching doesn't help, then it might be worth a trip to the neurologist. Try the stretches at the link:
