Can i get HIV from this PLEASE HELP!!!?!

Question: Can i get HIV from this PLEASE HELP!!!?
I just gave a person a massage, they had a few acne pimples on their back which looked a bit scabby

i massaged them for about 5 minutes using a massaging agent which is citrus based,

i later noticed i had a small pinsize scab on my finger so small it wouldn't show on camera. the scab is at least 7 days old maybe older and was actually from a HIV test due to the flu which came back (negative)

If i were to catch HIV from this what are the odss ( a number would be great)

My girl said their is nothing to worry about as she just completed a first aid course where she was informed that you need to practically bath in blood with an open cut before having a good chance of getting HIV and even then its minimal. is there any truth in this?

I spoke to a sexual health doctor/advisor who said when they say blood to blood they really mean blood to blood as in directly into the blood stream and anyway scabs don't let anything in. Is there any truth in this?

The NHS lady said there is a chance but its minimal and i should have wore gloves but i'm not even a good candidate for testing. is there any truth in this?

am i a good candidate for PEP?

what are the odds of having a HIV test and then catching HIV through the test wound? i'm sooo stupid

Answers:

Your chances of getting HIV from a massage client are nil, unless you went on to have unprotected sex with him.

There has been exactly one documented case of wound-to-wound transmission of HIV ever, and it involved two people both with fresh, deep knife wounds, so even if your client has HIV, you are at no risk.

The only ways you can get HIV are by having sex with or sharing needles with someone who's HIV-positive.

There is no need for you to get tested, and you are in no way a candidate for PEP. The idea that you could somehow get HIV as a result of testing is verging on paranoid fantasy.

Your odds are next to nothing.
Your girl is right.
Health/adviser is right.
NHS lady is right.
Not a candidate for PEP.
The HIV "Half Life", is measured in seconds. Meaning if HIV virus is outside of its optimal environment it will not live more than just seconds. To put you more at ease, you had mentioned you were using a citrus based massaging agent, this will shorten the Half Life even further.

You won't get HIV from that situation, as many people have previously mentioned, the NHS lady was right and you need blood to blood contact. However, if it's worrying you that much, then there is no harm getting a simple test just to give yourself peace of mind so you can move past this!

I'm sorry to break it to you, but the chances of you having HIV are 90%
You are most possibly going to die from it unless you cut open the wounded area and put oranges in there.

Personal experience.

You can't get it from a scab. You have to like cut your finger, then cut there's, and put the cuts together to like get it.

if yours isnt an OPEN WOUND then no. there isnt a chance.
