Skin deformities after getting jumped?!

Question: Skin deformities after getting jumped?
I got jumped in early January by 3 guys. About a week later, scabs that had formed on my face from getting hit were starting to peel off so I pulled em off. Now and since then, I have these dry areas on my skin. Right in the middle of my forehead is a rough dry spot. Its colored differently from the rest of my skin. There's another spot above and the left of my right eye, and one in the center on the top of my head. Why are they there? You could say, cause I've peeled the scabs off, but other places I did it (there were tons of places, pretty much my whole face) the skins fine. Is there any way to get rid of it? Like a lotion?

Answers:

Sorry, that sounds like a terrible experience.

My suggestion is to use a 1% hydrocortisone cream on those spots every morning, and vitamin E oil on those spots each evening. the cortisone is a steroid cream that will minimize inflammation and dry skin, and the vitamin E will help it to heal.

Every injury heals differently and at a different pace, which is why these scabbed areas are healing differently from eachother. The lasting effects you are seeing are perfectly normal. The discoloration is scarring, which may fade with time.
