what to do about high blood glucose?!

Question: What to do about high blood glucose?
went for a blood test recently at doctor's and got a call today saying my blood glucose is high so they want me to come in just under a month's time to do a fasting blood test.
Where I don't eat or drink anything except water from 10 in the evening until the next morning and then take my blood again for testing.

Should I be concerned as I don't think I ate anything too sugary before the last blood test I had anyway??

Answers:

If you took it right after you ate then it could be high.
When you eat fruits and carbohydrates like bread, potatoes, noodles, and rice turn to glucose (sugar).
It is better to find out now if you have diabetes so you can do something about it.
maybe you just need to eat better - no pure sugar and no overeating - and exercise.

No the reason they have you fast for 12 hours is to get all of that out of your system so you'll be just fine. I just had mine done a few weeks ago, very simple.
