Answers:

You *DO NOT* have HIV. It's possible sometimes for a person to have a false negative test in the first couple months after infection, but tests showing up repeatedly negative over a period of years is conclusive. If both of you have tested negative for HIV, neither of you have HIV. Anyone can get tuberculosis, his catching it is not your fault. Let go of your guilt.

HIV tests work by finding the HIV antibodies your immune system makes, to fight the virus. If, after THAT length of time, HIV anti-bodies would've shown up already in a HIV test. There is also a HIV home test you can get at Walgreen's or CVS pharmacy. Or you can call a hot line number, they are VERY educated & will help you put your mind at ease...1-800-FLA-AIDS 1-800-352-2437

I have called the 1-800 number & they have a lot of information!
