I have a cold, what should I eat and drink (and what should I avoid)?!

Question: I have a cold, what should I eat and drink (and what should I avoid)?
Hi! I'm a 13 year old girl and I have all the symptoms of your average cold; mild headache, sore throat, runny nose etc.
I was just wondering, what should I eat and drink? They don't neccesarily have to be beneficial just so when I eat/drink it my throat won't hurt. Also, what should I avoid? Is there anything that would make my cold worse? It's 5pm and what I've eaten so far today is a bowl of Cheerios and a chocolate Malteaster bunny and I've only drank a cup of tea and warm milk (not very good, I know!) I haven't been very hungry but I might get peckish later. Thanks alot for your help, 10 points to the best answer!

Hope i helped :)

It sounds like you have the flu. Best suggestions you can go to the doctor mainly your pediatric doctor because you are young. For now stay in bed.

You catch colds when not sleeping warm enough, put another blanket on your bed and colds could take 2 days to clear

Vitamin C. That's why it's in all cold remedies.
