Question: I have really bad acne, please help!?
Okay so, I have really bad acne, and black heads. It's weird because most of it is just bumps and its like under the skin so i don't know what i can do. I have had it since i was about 11 but its gotten worse and i'm sick of it. don't suggest proactive, clean and clear, etc. because i have tried it all. Doesn't work for me. im using this face cream, its working a little bit but its so slow.. ive been using it for a few months and there isnt that much of an improve meant. I'm a vegetarian, if that has anything to do with it. also i do eat alot of chocolate, but i heard that it doesnt actually give you zits? i heard you can get them surgically removed or something? i am also 13 by the way. NOTHING WORKS. please help, im getting ready to do anything about now. some jerks metion it too. what do i do?

Answers:

physical and emotional stress can cause break outs. Zits are clogged pores that become infected (in a nutshell). The best ways to avoid acne are to avoid getting clogged pores. Pores typically get clogged with dead skin cells and dirt. You can get rid of dead skin cells through exfoliating. If you have sensitive skin you don't want to use anything harsh that will irritate your skin. You should avoid using products with alcohol in them. So try using an alcohol free toner. I'd say they most important things you can do in general are to get a good nights sleep, don't touch your face or touch it as little as possible, and drink lots of water. I say don't touch your face because most people's hands are typically dirty and greasy (two things you do not want on your face). Wash your pillow cases frequently to avoid getting dirt on your face while you sleep. Try to avoid popping zits because zits can pop under the surface of your skin as well as on top and the ifection may just spread causing more zits. Popping zits can also cause scars. I did all this and my acne got better but didn't go away completely until I saw a dermatologist. There's not reason for you to suffer from acne with all the medication available these days. It may take several visits to the dermatoligist before you find something that works. Sleep well, wash your face no more than twice a day, don't touch your face and drink lots of water, and use alcohol free toner, or oil free lotion if your face is dry. It takes time but you'll find a combination of products that work for you (don't hesitate to see a dermatologist).

I had this problem when I was a teenager. It wasn't 'till I was a lot older that I found out I had several food allergies that made the acne flare up. In addition, if you are female & wear any makeup, switch to a mineral (non-liquid) makeup, it will help immensely after a few weeks. As for chocolate, it triggers my acne because of the milk in it - I am allergic to milk. Dark chocolate doesn't seem to affect it as badly. Hang in there!

Use the normal clearasil spot treatment (USE THE WHITE) and keep it on overnight on zits.

try not to stress your self out about it it will only make u break out more. if u have to pop a zit u have do do it i know but blackheads leave those aloone dont sqeeze them because the are not pimples and if u pick at them they turn in to pimple and it will just get worst. dont drink sodas or foods with lots of sugar it will aggrivate your acne, fresh air and a little sun is good for your skin too but no tanning though. lots of water drink lots of water, after u exersice shower. last but not least dont let it bother u, look at them as beauty mark not everyone gets them (i know it sounds stupid) who cares what other kids think or say just be confedient in your self.
