what can cause skin rash on the inner thighs?!

Question: What can cause skin rash on the inner thighs?
i had a high fever of 103 last nigh and i woke up with all my clothes including my boxer briefs soaking wet in sweat. when i took em off i realized my inner thighs are red. theres no blisters or no pain its just red. i also had a soar throat that i took care of with antibiotics. the first day i took my antibiotics the soar throat was fixed even though i have another 4 days to take the medication. i am concerned about my inner thighs being red though. is it because of the sweat that boiled up the skin through the night? since i was under 3 blankets and i had 103 temperature? i put on jock itch over the counter hoping that will help. any ideas or tips?

Answers:

It could have been a heat rash since you had a fever or it could be the extra moisture due to sweating from the fever. The skin on your inner thighs is super sensitive just like your neck region or skin between fingers and toes. I wouldn't worry to much about the rash unless you don't see an improvement for a few days.

It was probably because your skin was pressed together, sweaty for a long period of time so a rash develops. If the jock itch doesn't help, try some Hydrocortizone cream. (used for rashes and skin irritations because of bug bites, skin problems etc) Clean the area before you put it on.

Shaving with the wrong kind of razor, or your skin is allergic to the fabric of your clothing. I feel that it has nothing to do with the other things you mentioned.

did you have ne boils or pimples? sounds like gonoreah! yu need a real doctor
