I wouldnt say chased as much as they want to know you and him are on the same page. You have to kind of follow his lead and read in between the lines while not jumping to conclusions or pushing more then he is ready for or they run.
My man is extremely shy and when I came on strong thinking thats what he wanted I actually almost blew it...That was 5yrs ago though
