I read that article about sitting to heart attack rate?!

Question: I read that article about sitting to heart attack rate?
You know that thing that was submitted on Yahoo! that people who sit for 6 or more hours are 54% more likely to die of a heart attack? Let's say... I lay down for about 15 waking hours... and I am 15... would this still affect me? I am only 150pounds so don't assume I am fat. But since I am 15, would it still affect me? Or should I stand like I did today?

Answers:

i really want to know this answer as well. I am so glad someone asked because I wanted to ask this too!

I hate sitting so I tend to lay down whenever I have a chance... I have poor circulation so I put my feet up at work or school too (I'm 21). I feel a lot better laying down. :)

But, so far, I haven't found research with a correlation between bed rest/laying down and heart attack rates. I've done a lot of googling but there doesn't seem to be any news or research articles as of yet. I guess we have to wait and see T__T

lots and lots of googling.
