How to put weight on?!


Question: I'm trying to increase my weight because I'm a vegitarian and therefore don't get as much fat and therefore I'm very skinny and I want to try and make myself normal weight however when I try putting weight on I just get slightly taller.
Any tips?

i recommend protein shakes. they come in all shapes and sizes, and you really need the extra protein to make up for the lack of meat. peanuts and walnuts and other nuts are good too. To gain good,solid weight (lean mass, not fat) make sure you eat 4-5 meal per day rather than stuffing yourself twice a day. If you're going to exercise, avoid doing cardio (like running, bicycle etc). Stick to weights.

You can get milk and soya protein powders too. You need to bear in mind you dont really need to eat fat at all. in fact, you should stay away from fats. You need protein and carbohydrates. You get carbohydrates from veggies, but protein is mostly found on meat and fish, so thats what u should really aim for. Try leaning a bit about nutrition, theres loads of stuff online.

sit at home watching tv drinking and eating chips
