Can you build muscle and lose fat at the same time?!


Question: like if I were to exercise in the way as posted below, would I build muscle and burn fat?

monday-lift weights
tuesday-run
wednesday-run
thursday-run
friday-lift weights
saturday-run
sunday-run

It is definately possible to do both. However, you may end up gaining weight at first due to the fact that muscle weighs more then fat. ( If this happens, don't freak out!)

And one word of advice... I would take at least one day off. Your body needs rest.

Actually I think it's possible to do both at the same time. Instead of running though, it'd be easier to jog while lifting wheights that are like 10kg or depending on your strength. I've tried it before while walking my dog. Talk about multi-tasking! Hope you build some muscles :)

You'd burn more fat because of all that running.

Do weights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and run the other days, except for Sunday. Your body needs rest. Yes you can do that you have to put alittle wieght on your shoulders and push yourself if you want those muscles like no fat at all. Pushups help me all the time because It helps me excersize and buil mucles.
