I would recommend working on eating very healthy. I've found that vegetables can be eaten without much issue (careful with dressings, though). Work on eating in moderation. You can have pretty much anything, if you make up for it (eating less somewhere else, or exercising). Try to eat so you get any needed nutrients and enough energy (trust me, you'll feel pretty bad if you don't... no need to take anything TOO far and get along the lines of anorexic or bulemic).

Try to stay away from sugar! Eating sugar can give you energy, but its very easy to crash after it, making you normally search for other options for energy, typically involving a splurge of a lot of unneeded calories. Also, most things that have sugar end up having a lot of calories, or at least calories without necessary nutrients.

I also recommend exercise, of course. Walking, jogging and running are very good ways of exercising. Also, to target certain areas, I would recommend sit-ups/crunches for your abbs. For the other areas, I would recommend cardio after working on weight training. Some helpful links:

You say you're already fairly muscular, so the body building might not be necessary. It is a good way to work off extra weight, though.

Hope this stuff helps.

Start eating less and start running

Um watch what you eat and walk on a tred mill every day for 1 hou r

there's some pills called Alli when you eat something with fat you poop it you take it before eating

Only eat when you are hungry..
And don't eat alot.

Stay active, work out..Try watching the Wiggles..Thats how I did it..Lol.

Just eat healthy, less food, more often. Keep working out. You are probably pretty active, but may need to add more. Avoid soda, high carbs, drink plenty of water. Add some extra walking into your day and possibly some weight training as well. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat, so the weight is not the only issue. Ask a p.e. teacher about a body mass index measurement and go from there. A coach or phys ed teacher can help you.

change your eating habits, start exercising everyday. loose the fat food, go on to green leafy veggies. have more fruits for more energy, because you're a cheerleader aren't you?

153 and 5' 6" isn't really that bad is it? If it is spend more time on the horse, it's the best exercise machine made. I lost 25 in the last four months and replaced sodas with vitamin waters about four months ago. I watch the quality of my diet pretty close too. Feed yourself like you would your horse ;-)
your horse will look a lot better and stay healthier with exercise too.

You may want to invest in a calorie counter monitor/watch to help you realise exactly how many calories you are burning per day. To loose weight, you will need to stay at approx 1,200 calories for food intake. You need to burn 3,500 calories to loose one pound. So add, 3,500 to 1,200 and your over all calorie counter at the end of the day should read 4,700 or higher to make sure you are dropping weight correctly. Once you wear a watch you will be amazed at how fast and exactly which activities in your day will help you burn the highest amount of calories. Once you change the way you think about calories you will find it is easier to maintain those burned calories on a daily basis.
