Try 4 miles on a stationary bike, or just go on a real 3 mile walk (especially on a nice day)
You should at least a 20 minute work out to get a good exercise. that's what i do
I'm only 12 and my dad makes me ride 3 to 5 miles a day or 12 miles a week (well i have bad knee problems) its really not that bad when you get used to it! it will take a couple of days, but after that you should be fine!
A 3 mile power walk is equivalent to an 8 mile bike ride.
