It is better to tell than not to. It is very serious disease. She will be pissed that you told. Tell your counselor, or school nurse. They may be able to to help you get her some help. Eventually she may forgive you. She needs your help more than ever. If you can, talk to her parents when she isn't around. I wish i could help you more. For most girls with bulimia it is about control. She may not be able to control things at home, but she can control her own body. Something is going on more than depression. Good Luck and be strong for her. This is a tough situation.

Being a good friend to her at this time is the most important thing you can do. If you think she needs help then talk to her parents or to another adult and see what can be done to help her. Bulimia is a very serious medical condition and she can ruin her health very quickly.

Bulimia is when you force yourself to throw up after eating. This can be for a number of reasons, sometimes because of the guilt felt by eating too much or simply because the person really likes to eat but doesn't want to gain weight.

It sounds more like your friend is in the beginning stages of anorexia where they have a distorted image of their body and see themselves as fat when they're all skin and bones.

Talk to a professional, a teacher or somebody that will listen and help her to get the help she needs.

you must talk whit her parents

That is great that your want to help her. A lot of times bulimia and depression can effect a person. Can you get her to talk to one of her parents or another trusted adult? If she has depression it would be beneficial for her to go to counselling. This could also help with the bulimia. It is important for her to get into a treatment program to get the help she needs. Hopefully she recognizes that she has a problem and is willing to get help. Tell her how much you care about her and ask her to speak to her doctor about this as a first step. Otherwise you might have to tell one of her parents. She might be mad at you, but in the long run you would be doing what is best to help her get the assistance she needs..

Tell a teacher if she goes to your school.

tell her shes looks even more unattractive and sickly since shes starving herself for a supposedly 'better' image !
or ur fren can hear that from someone she cares about most.
after all, its all in the mind! :)
