Question: i do cardio at the gym for an hour 3 days a week .. treadmill, bike.. elpical machine and weights... i just want to know how many calories should I burn at the gym if i want to lose to 2-5 lbs a week ?? and i eat 1,200 -1500 a day???

Eating 1200-1500 a day is low and you are at the gym 3 times a week. I think you would be miserable trying to adapt to a lifestyle of 1200-1500 calories a day. Take your time and do it right. Eat good foods and exercise like you are doing, lose 1 lb a week and enjoy a healthy lifestyle.
If you are in the gym for that hour and really push your cardio and weights, that will burn 1000 calories on an average.
