Is this a good lunch? (at school)?!


Question: Lol, Im wondering if this is a good lunch that I should eat for lunch at school:

1. Vitamin Water (strawberry kiwi, also known as Focus)
2. Single twix bar
3. Gushers
4. Chicken Patty with about 7 pieces of fries on side
5. Ice cream


I think thats a little too much. I've only eaten that amount for 2 days, i want to keep a healthy diet. How should I narrow it down? (you can add new food) Our school lunch has almost everything :)

First of all, nothing on that list is good. Seriously, it's complete crap.

1. Water. Regular everyday water. You could also have milk or some juice. Vitamin water doesn't count.
2. Some kind of protein provided it isn't fried. Do they serve anything that's grilled?
3. Vegetables. You can get by with a salad but go easy on the dressing.
4. Some kind of carb, but like the protein it shouldn't be fried. Maybe some pasta on the side.
5. Dessert - go nuts here and get your ice cream or your Twix bar. I'd say some fruit would be better, but you gotta have fun sometimes.

and if you need a junk food thing then get ONE item not twix, gushers, AND icecream get one of those.

I agree with mnmz4lyf....you may also want to add a fruit or vegetable in there.

I'm not calling you fat so don't take this offensive. It's a fatty lunch. Just becuase you have vitamin water doesn't make it really healthy. I mean you would have a twix, AND a thing of gushers, AND a chicken patty, AND fries, AND ice cream! That's alot of sugar and fat and is not too healthy.

1. Skip the vitamin water and get regular water or non fat milk.
2. No twix bar. Thats candy, not lunch!
3. No gushers.
4. Get the chicken patty but instead of fries get a piece of fruit, veggies, and a bun for the patty.
5. No ice cream.

There, that should be you lunch. Bon apetite

if you want to eat healthy, then change the junk food for fruits and vegetables, it will work

I would recommend making your own lunch...but if you want to buy it i would probably get rid of the french fries...pick a low fat icecream like orange buddies(my favorite) or an icey pop sort of thing. You should exchange the gushers for vegtables. And maybe the twix for some sweet fruit. And you should stick with the chicken patty, or if possible get grilled chicken. This way you've got all the important food groups and a little dessert too!
