Anorexic??!


Question: i'm not anorexic, i can't be. i eat alot and extersize and don't puke or whatever-but i'mstarting to show sings of anorexia-my legs fall asleep more, my skin is paler(only a teeny tiny bit) my hair is falling out-1-5strands a day(nothing pulling it at all) and i feel so bad whenever i eat something. i think i'm starting to become anorexic-i'm eating less and less, and i'm 13 and i think i need help, but it's not serious right now. any help??

are you on a 2000 calorie a day diet? keep a food diary. everyone's hair naturally falls out. it's a natural process as more hair grows other hair falls out. I have really thick hair and have to clean out my hair brush every day because it is always full of hair after doing my hair in the morning. if you keep eating less and less your stomach will shrink which will then only promote you to continue to eat less. I would sit down with someone you trust. a parent, counselor at school, close friend, or even one of your friends parents and tell them your situation see if they can help you. it's good that you are worried about yourself. first off purging is bulimia not anorexia. i think you should get help before it gets any worse. go to the doctor and find out why your legs are falling asleep. As for being pale you may be anemic so iron supplements might be a good idea. And you should talk to one of your parents. have them make you a meal and monitor your eating habits until they're on track again

The symptoms of aneroxia are mental, not physical. Therefore, it might be perhaps something else. You probley have fast metabolism, that is why you can eat a lot and still be skinny. You don't however have to extercise a whole lot either! This is bad, especially if your not eating enough! And the thing when you "feel bad" if you eat something is actually a symtom of an eating disorder ..so tell someone your mom? sister? just let someone help you!! This isnt as serious right now, but it will get worst if you don't get your help! trust me, ive been through an eating disorder.. Its okay to get help!!

Do you not eat because you think you're fat? If not you might have other problems.
