Does this sound like an eating disorder?!


Question: not eating breakfast cause you don't like any breakfast food, can't eat that early in the morning, and don't have time.

eat lunch every three days (cause you have lunch every three days and a teacher and they don't really like people skipping lunch) so when you eat lunch you have a bottle of water and either a bagel or a pretzel but other wise will just have water.

then when you get home from school you'll either have an apple or some pistachios.

then usually eat some dinner at like 4:30/ 5ish and usually have some form of potatoes and a little meat (don't like eating animals) and vegetables

and i wont eat anything after dinner.

oh i don't eat milk or cheese (hurts stomach)
really cant eat much because for the last few months (since October) have had nearly constant stomach pains that get worse when you eat and pain is really bad in the morning , also feel like you're going to throw up about half of the time (that you're awake)

No it sounds like you have a lactose or gluten problem because that's how I was before I found out. I stopped eating foods with grains or milk for awhile as a friend suggested & I felt sooo much better. I had to learn what i could or couldn't eat. If you drop regular pop & switch to diet it helps too. check this site, http://www.webmd.com. It has a symptom checker & some articles so you can see if you should make a dr appt. Eating in the morning instead of at night will help you feel better all day & will help you not get sick to your stomach too. Just find foods that don't hurt. If you eat more foods during the day & less at night it helps you lose weight too! Good luck! It wasn't a fun time for me. Hope you can find your perfect answer for you!

well not really it sounds to me like you dont eat cause you get stomach pains everytime you do. i would go see a doctor because it could be gallbladder problems and it can get pretty serious if you just let it go so please go get it checked out! GL!

It doesnt sound like enough to eat but is not an eating disorder if your not forcing yourself not to eat when you are hungry.
And you are definately not underweight. Perhaps just try to eat a bit more otherwise you are missing out on important nutrients. If you dont get hungry, just graze and eat regulary.

Sounds like you need a Dr. Hopefully ur parents know about ur stomach pains.

Go to a nutritionist. Maybe a doctor for the stomach pains.

I think you should talk to a therapist for your food issues.
At the least, you will feel better about your choices.

Do people around you comment on your eating habits? That could also be a sign.

You really shouldn't have stomach pains. Check it out with a doctor.

that doesn't sound like a disorder, maybe you should get checked by a doctor or maybe just take a multi-vitamin because i'm sure you are not getting all of them

I think you should talk to a doctor. Talk to your parents. You are not eating properly. You really do need to start eating breakfast, lunch and supper, cut out the snacks in between the meal time. Go to the doctor. Get some help before it is too late. Good Luck and God Bless.

its an eating disorder when you do all of these things because you hate your body image, if you have no problems with it then it is most likely that food does not work well with your stomach at specific times and specific kinds..

I don't think its an eating disorder. But it sounds like you have a stomach problem and should see a doctor. I would think about taking a multi-vitamin. you need calcium, and iron. Well and everything else you're not getting. Are you sure you're not tired from not getting enough calories in the morning?
