Does creatine hurt your kidneys even if you drink the right amount of water?!

Question: Creatine is stored in other organs of the body if there is an excess. The level of creatine in the blood is generally an indication of kidney function and performance after 12 hours of fasting. There is no evidence of it actually harming your kidneys.

not really

dont really know much about creatine except that it is a powder and that it helps build a certain physique by body building..
aside from that, my friend did take creatine and he advised me NOT to start doing so because according to him, the body becomes 'weird and 'flabby' once you stop taking it...however, i dont know whether weirdness and flabbiness was from him not working out as much or just the not taking creatine part....
