Anyone else short and hate it, lol?!
Question: I'm 13 and only about 5'1, I really wish I was taller. Anyone else???I doubt I'll get much taller because my mom is only like 5'1, my dad is like 5'11 though so I'm hoping I'll still grow. I wish it all didn't depend on genetics, lol. :)

Just like you, my mom's short and my dad's an average height. What I LOVE about being short is that you can always find a boy taller than you to go to dances with...maybe even get married. I mean, who wants the boy taller than them?
Make the most of what you can of your height. Be positive whenever someone calls you "shortie." At least, if your on a sports team, you can dodge them giants fast. =]
I'm 17 5"1' and I despise my height. Everyone else in my family is tall (except my mom, but she has osteoporosis, so. . . ). What happened with me is I stunted my growth with my stupid eating disorder. I starved myself, then started binging and purging. Ugh. I should have been 5"5'. Don't starve yourself and make sure you get adequate nutrition. You're young yet and might grow another inch or two.
I am learning to love myself the way I am. It's not horribly bad being short, except it's easier to get fat. Being short has its perks, too. Last week, my 6"11' cousin was being a jerk about how short I was and I nailed him right between the legs. His family jewels were literally at fist level.

Don't worry about something you cannot change. You still have many more years to grow.. Your only 13! My dad is 6'3" and I'm only 5'9" Your female.. so 5'4" would be avg.. Worry about it if you want,but it won't change anything.. just wasting energy.. Put it to positive use instead.. Good luck.
oh dont worry if your are 13 and your mom/ height you will grow prooly to about 5 5 im 14 and your height so dont feel bad bein short has its perks to
bein to tall is very freakey and everybody looks at you
