Olive oil is considered a heart healthy oil. However, too much of any oil is bad for you. Olive oil, like any other oil still contains a good amount of fats. Just try to stick to a small amount of Olive Oil each day, do not overdo. Along side that eat healthy foods, because eating just olive oil alone will not help.

I used Extra virgin Olive oil when frying boneless skinless chicken. Its also used alot in salad dressings. While it is a good fat, it is still a fat, so you dont want to much. All it means when it says "Extra Virgin" is that it comes from the first pressing.
