How can I go from a size 28 to a size 16 within a year?!

Question: This is my New Years resolution that I will be making to myself. So please no harsh comments... I want to do this for my own benefit.. I am tired of being the "fat girl" of the group. So I am wondering how I can go from a size 28 to a size 16 within a year. I did have a gym membership but because I had to move and my rent was higher, I could not longer afford it, and a personal trainer was 400 dollars for 6 months up front. I do not have that kind of money to fork out. So, I am on my own with this. I know it will be harder because I take Lexapro, from what I heard it causes water weight. But taking that is for mine and everyone else's own good. I just cannot take being this size anymore. As much as I deny that it bothers me, deep down inside it really does. Especially when you have a husband who only weighs 145.. When I met him I was a size 16.. I want to go back to that. SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME SOME VALUABLE ADVICE....

Hello doll...I hear your plea and I am going to give you more advice than you may ever had expected. First change that dead line for when you will be a size 16. The New Year's Resolution is that "I am going to change my size."

I have done it. In 1994 I weighed 354 pounds and I joined a gym to use its Low Impact Aerobics class. Something easily done at home. By 1996 I had so much power and energy I lead that class every morning at 7a,m. and on Saturdays I took the power aerobics class for an hour. By then I weighed 200 pounds and oops, I wore a size 14! At my lowest adult weight I wore a size 8-10 and weighed in at 170 ish.

I gave up the gym when I moved my family back home...I have weighed between 195 and 200 consistently since 1998 and still wear a straight 14 and most 12's.

Bottom line is that these are all numbers, even the weight. Your goal is to be healthy and exercises. If you really want my help with more detail of what I did you may have it.

is that pill really important i dont know if its not just stop taking it cus i dont know wat its for but if u cant go to the gym then do stuff at home like sit ups push ups just put on music and dance for half hour a day an hour if u want and i personaly hate working out so for mine i go to the mall everyday and walk for an hour u can try that too. drink lots of water eat fruits vegies all u want. salads and protien it should work and u should be able to reach ur goal its not unreasonable but only if u stick to it it will work the first couple weeks it wil be hard but once u see the waight coming off it will motivate u more and u will stick to it
good luck!

only one way.. and even then a year may not be enough time..
cut your calorie intake to something just short of what feels like starving and exercise daily.... 2 hour walk around the block would be good..
no snacks..unless its fresh fruit ,uncooked vegs not canned
no cupcakes or anything with hostest on the box..
limit your sugar to 1/2 cup a week..
no sodas... drink water or tea.. with very little surgar if you need it
no fast food at all...
no cheating at all.. cheat once.. you will cheat again and again

put a loud buzzer on the fridge so it wakes up the neaghborhood with its gets opened

OK straight off I have to tell you this is not going to be easy. If you follow the South Beach diet to a tee and exercise atleast 3 times a week even if its just walking for 30 minutes, you can do it. I have lost a considerable amount of weight on it, but because of the chocolate monster that comes around every month, I have to start over all the time. Getting past phase 1, two weeks, is the hardest part. The recipes are really good, especially the breakfast egg recipes. But if you follow it you will be full all the time and the weight will come off.
