Help losing weight!!?!


Question: Ok, here's the deal, I am 23, 5'11", and weigh 285 lbs. I want to lose a lot of weight very fast. I don't care how unhealthy it is, I need to lose it fast. The problem: I cannot control my eating habbits. I have a very hard time. I have tried the starvation method, but I found it very hard to continue. I need help!!!

first off starving you body isn't healthy at all for your body this can help lose weight but closer to your death...i know alot of people will love to lose weight fast using pills and fad diets but its better doing it the healthy way and you can do it, you just need patients, all human body can lose 2 pounds of fat every month but by doing intense exercises and eating healthy you can lose 15 in 2 months...here something that i wrote that might help you and might not if you decide to follow it or not.... =] i wrote this for one of my friends and it helped her alot! i guess nutrition class paid off haha! also try getting a fitness trainer at a local gym, it will help maintain your calories you burn and keep a journal on what you eat and how many times a day you exercise everyday...


Promote Weight Loss

To eliminate inappropriate eating cues:
Buy foods or eat foods low in fat
Shop when you are not hungry cuz you tend to eat more
Change channels when food advertisements come up
Carry snacks with you stay away from vending machines

Appropriate eating and exercise:
Encourage others to eat healthy foods with you
Keep your appropriate foods in the fridge
Eat in small portions
Establish specific times for meals and snacks

Engage in desired eating or exercise behaviors:
Eat only at planned times; plan not to eat after a specified time (say 7:00 or 8:00 p.m)
Slow down (eat slowly)
Leave some food on the plate
Go to the gym and do intense workouts (cardio, kick boxing, aerobic, running etc.)

Make a record of what you eat, exercise and weight changes


Drink plenty of water(8 glasses or more a day)
Eat nutrient- dense foods
Eat slowly
Eat small portions
Limit snacks to healthful choices
Limit television watching
Participate in physical activity
Select low-fat foods
Share a restaurant meal or take home leftovers
Limit concentrated sweets and alcoholic beverages
Learn alternative ways to deal with stress and emotions

Eat things that are in the food pyramid
Eat things in variety, don
