I do feel guilty after I have eaten at times. If you are working out and eating heathily I don't think you will have a problem with getting fat!!!
Are you under any stress? Sometimes this can cause a person to change there eating habbits.
If your feeling a bit low you could treat yourself to some new clothes that may make you feel better about yourself.
IIf your friends are the hounest type they won't lie to you.
You could always ask for someones elses opinion, maybe your mum.
Please don't stop eating hun it will make you feel ill and you will probably end up binginging afterwards - trust me!
Hope i've helped

think about the food you eat and eat healthy

to hard on yourself-not normal-

I would suggest you get some counseling from an eating disorder therapist before things get worse.

Yes. I always feel like "Ughh, I shouldn't have eaten it".

If you want to keep on living, you have to have nourishment. Can the crazy talk, and just eat in moderation, and don't pig out.

before you start getting messed up just feel GREATFUL.

No it is not normal at all....you are obsessed with your weight and are at risk for developing an eating disorder if you continue this way.

if you feel guilty after you eat, dont eat as much

yes if you are on a diet which is in my case every day i feel guilty everyday

If you murdered a person to get the food then yes, if not, just eat whatever you want to within reason. Be you, be happy.

it depends on what I eat..if it's something healthy then I don't feel guilty, but if I ate too much sweets then I feel the guilt and the fatness lol!

Depends what you ate...

Fruit / Veg: Dont feel bad, carrots don't have feelings...

Meat: Poor defenceless little chickens. Oh well, it's their fault for clucking so much.

People: Meh, we all do it sometime =P

Not to that extent.

guilt and food do not go together as food has no moral value so to feel that way suggests a mental and emotional imbalance..probably the start of an eating disorder triggered by stress or failure to deal with emotion in a coherent manner. cognitive behavioural therapy can help to redress the balance and give insight into thought patterns around food

No it's not and it sounds like you're in the beginning stages of an eating disorder.

You need to either change the way you look at food, or you need some help to get you there.

Speak to your doctor or a nutritionist right away. Your future health depends on it.

Well, this is not normal to have these emotions all the time but I do the same thing... It sucks, I do feel guilty and mad at myself everytime I pig out, and I have been dpressed lately with my fiance gone for 5 months so I have packed on a few pounds. I just need to get my head out of my *** and lose the weight again. I don't know how to tell you to fix this though besides counseling and will power....

i'm scared of gaining to much weight also. if i eat something thats not so healthy i feel guilty but if your working out and not going overboard on unhealthy food and your not overweight you need not to worry.

I feel guilty when I don't finish my food and throw away food because there are people around the world who aren't as fortunate as I am.

But, I used to be really self-cautious about my eating habits associating with my weight. Perhaps you could keep track of how much calories you eat, and when you workout, aim for a certain amount to burn off a portion of what you ate?

It is normal up until a certain point. I think you are starting to get past that point. Try to focus on health instead of weight.

I don't think guilty is the word. I think being a little dissapointed in yourself is. Even if it's not justified, you still get a little aggravated that you let yourself eat a little too much when you knew you shouldn't. But feeling guilty after a normal meal and working out regularly doesn't seem normal at all. I mean you need to eat food. That's how we survive. You seem like you are scared you're gonna get fat. This might be a emotional issue. Have you talked to your friends or parents about it?

these are the first signs of anorexia, you need to realise that you beautiful the way you are. it can be normal to feel guilty after eating large amounts of food. you should have a talk witha dietian who can give some advice, before its too late.

You sound like you could have an image problem. Talking to a professional might be the thing to do. If you know you look OK but don't believe it-that's a serious problem that could lead to very bad problems. Get that help now cause it's not ok what you're doing to yourself.

It is natural to do any work in abnormal manner you will get reverse results which shows some bad signs of eating. So try to do all the job in nature system level and you can save yourself from worldly affairs.

sometimes i do. yh.

hi,
this way of feeling guilty is a psycological disorder commenly found in humans.
FOR AN EXAMPLE, A WOMEN WASHESH HER HANDS @500 TIMS A DAY BY BEING AFRAID OF VIRUS INFECTION.
theres no problem pf guilty feeling, jus draw ue attention in some other thing while u eat. u will slowly forget it.
enjoy ur food.

Sounds like your stuck in a rut. You shouldn't feel guilty after eating. Even if you do have a treat, just tell yourself that you deserved it. Try eating slower, that way you will know when your full & you won't over eat, plus you'll enjoy your food better
