Question: Ok so I'm just going to come right out and say it I weigh 113 pounds and I'm 12 years old I now I'm fat and can fit in sizes small in Hollister and I really do no thats fat but please give me some excersize tips so I can change my fatness and I can go to wearing a xs instead of a s in Hollister!!!

It takes a combination of both exercise and diet.

To exercise you should start running... a lot. You can alternate between biking and running if running is painful on your knees. Maybe you can find a buddy to go to a local high school track with you during week nights? To start off you may just want to walk the track for about 4-8 laps. Don't over do it - keep in mind that being healthy is a lifetime commitment and you aren't going to change your body over night by running full speed ahead your first night and ending up passed out on the track needing to throw up. Over time you can move from walking to partly jogging/walking to jogging to full on running. For women especially, running is key to keeping a good figure. All of the women at my gym spend the majority of their time on the treadmills and exercise bikes.

From a diet perspective - instead of eating 3 big meals you should snack on smaller/healthier portions throughout the day. None of your portions should be larger than your entire hand and no individual item that you eat should be larger than your palm. As an example you might have corn, potatoes, and chicken that cover your plate about the size of your hand. The chicken should not be larger than the palm of your hand though. This will help increase your metabolism. Do NOT eat fast food ever again. It may be difficult because it is so convenient but there are so many better alternatives that will help you stay healthy. You should try sticking to poultry, salads (go VERY light on any salad dressing as they are usually high calorie), and pastas. You have to understand that to lose weight you need to burn more calories than you put in. Once again, this is a lifetime commitment and you aren't going to safely cut your weight by starving yourself. Try sticking to a 2000 calorie diet and eventually try to get yourself down to 1800.

You will likely see that as you exercise more your body will need more fuel to keep it going. As a result you will likely experience an urge to eat more... fight this as much as possible but once again don't starve yourself. If you absolutely must snack make it something healthy like carrot sticks or celery - do not douse them in peanut butter as this is a high calorie item. To help fight the urge to eat you can also drink lots of cold water. This will shrink your stomach and additionally aid in sweating which is good for your skin and a good indicator that you are getting a good workout.

Don't get too caught up in what your body looks like. The media will make you feel like you should be anorexic looking but this is NOT healthy. As long as you feel healthy and are comfortable with yourself that is much more important than being weak and unhealthy. There are plenty of guys out there that prefer a curvy girl rather than a stick figure. You can buy plenty of cute clothes in other sizes too.

Exercise while watching TV. Running in place, sit ups,jumping jacks.

walk everyday. i know it may not sound like much, but it works

it'll burn off fat and work your leg muscles.
then do some crunches.

try sit/push ups regularily...

your not fat. take up a sport to tone up. But your not fat

considering hollister clothes run small to begin with....you are basically wearing a XS.

But, crunches are the best quick tummy-taimer.

Exercising over and hour daily is unhealthy. But you can try some of these:
Walking daily
Getting excercise videos
Wii Daily Excercise Challenge thingy
Kick Boxing
Eat less
Get into Sports

Or you can try some GREAT diets that let you eat and loose pounds like...

and...
Weight Watchers

ok u only weight that much and u complaining ur not fat i bet ur hot so dont worry about it

umm jog a mile twice a week.. Pick 2 days to eat extra healthy. Dont drink regular soda!!! And do crunches every other day! And say away from fatting food much as possible. Try taking the longer route to classes if you have time. Do more walking. When someone needs something do it for them. If you mom is about to go downstair to get a drink. Go downstair and get it for her. && also when u go up the stair run! okay. I do it all the time.

get off the computer and go have fun outside

Are you kidding, come on a size xs that's why to small, think healthy not inhealthy. get toned and don't worry about size. Take care.

im the same wight and age as you and im not fat at all.how tall are you? if yur 5feet u should be around 100lbs. u are not fat! size small isnt fat!

do pilates and yoga. do some light weight training. do school sports. anything that can keep you from sitting down and munching. take pride in yourself and dont be self conscious. have fun...stop worrying.

ok heres a few hint dont eat anything past 6 0 clock for some reason the food digests better when your awake and you lose weihgt or if you get a like dance dance revelotion game they have a amout of calories burned which is always useful also if you run about a mile thats about 1000 steps a day that will get healthy in no time also avoid melty cheese and anything cooked in grease or its own grease avoid those and well thats it oh and if you like tuna its very good and healthy

Ok i work at hollister, and their sizes run small so your doing good... but you are abit over weight.... I'm very fit and these are my tips...

I drink only water and powerade

eat alot of salad. i put balsomic viager in mine.

since your in middle school you should take P.E.

No candy no snacks. eat healty . eat a pomagrante or an apple

when i know i've ate to much and still hungry i brush my teeth.. sounds wierd but food taste nasty after brushing your teeth.

Stay active. dont sit on the computer or couch go outside and pass football or something.

Sure. keep your body from progressing and growing normally, like NORMAL girls do (you know, ones that are, GASP, OVER 113!!!!!)

Sure, drink DIET drinks wtih fake everything, Sure, just fill your body with SO MUCH chemicals your body does soemthing terrible

So, you can be NORMAL, or you can be dead.

At 13 I just wanted to live one more day, even though the medical doctors said I wouldn't.

For exercise:
- Do 50 cruches a day (for abs)
- Do 20 lunges a day (for legs
- Try to walk, run, or bike everyday (cardio works wonders)

For diet:
- Before you eat, drink water. Half of the time you think that you are hungry, your body is really just thirsty
- Try low calorie foods (Non-fat yogurt, raw veggies, white meat chicken)
