How many push ups does it take to have effect and how long until it happens?!

mann you got itt alll wrong
push ups actually work your back muscles and shoulder muscles
try dumbells for biceps
i do martial arts
and some good moves for a fight
punch them once in the stomach when they bend over knee them in the face grab their arm put your legs behind his and trip him then get on top of him and hit him a good couple times in the face you can also punch and follow through with an elbow
great tips i have used them before and whooped a kid 6 inches taller than me
also remember its not about size its about quickness and how you do it that counts

The key is rest. Do 50 good (slow and controlled) press ups, once a week, after a month i guarentee you'll do them in less time, find them generally easier and it will make a difference in looks too.
The good old one bomb, or the one inch punch. My mate does something to necks that blows you for the count. It's rapid. He has a lot of people start fights with him, he does this and just walks off.....

umm..you should talk to somebody if you are planning a fight or something...

You can do all the pushups in the world and it won't help.

And there's no "killer move" that you can execute to knock somebody down. At least not something you can learn on the internet.

doing pushups or sit ups depends on what part of your body you want to train, by doing pushups u are not only training your bicepts and trisepcs (back and forth muscle on your arms your also training shoulders and back. How many ? depends on what goal you have but lets say you do 50 pushups 3 days a week it ofcourse takes longer then if u do them 7 days a week recomended is not that you do pushups untill you fall do 3X12 push ups a day the first month 5 days a week and you will see a result within a month, but most of all do them right al the way down and all the way up its more important to do them right then fast.

Situps aint as easy as people think couse most people do them wrong first of all as well as in push ups is how u do them that gives result not how fast u do them. lay on the floor place a chair infront of you and put up your lower part of the legs and your feets on the chair, lay down with your back on the floor place your hands over your chest and bend upwards as long as you can and then SLOWLY back BUT do not rest your head on the floor do not go all the way down leave like 5 inches fom the back of the head to th floor and go up again, same here 3X12 5 days a week and the result will come pretty quick. When you feel you manage more push ups and sit ups go for 3X15 with 30 second rest between each part.

It all depends on your body. And you dont really need to be strong to take somebody out. It also depends on your opponents body....if he is skinny a good punch to the ribs should do it ,,, or breaking one of his fingers .. if he is fat go for the knees or neck.. personally i prefer the neck you can make him faint in less than one minute if you do it right...
