Crunches hurt my throat??!


Question: Yesterday I started doing crunches. I haven't done them for years and years. Anyway, when I do them, they hurt my throat! Is this normal or harmful??? I did 50 crunches yesterday and today.

You're doing them wrong if you're hurting your throat.

When you crunch, don't bring your chin to your chest but try to keep your nose pointed upwards. I know it sounds weird, but it's what you need.

No, they should not hurt your throat, maybe when you were doing them you were maybe somehow pulling on your neck that may have caused some soreness in your throat.

Next time you do them try putting your hands on your head and not puttin so much force or your head or neck while doing them. GOOD LUCK!

YOUR DOING THEM WRONG OR YOU BEEN OUTTA SHAPE AND HAVENT WORKED OUT IN A WHILE AND YOUR CARDIO VASCULAR SYSTEM IS BEING WORKED AGAIN AND YOUR BREATHING HARDER AND IT FEELS LIKE IT DOES WHEN YOUR RUNNING OUTSIDE IN THE COLD WEATHER AND YOUR THROAT HURTS THATS PROBLY WHY BUT IT SHOULDN'T HAPPEN AGAIN THOUGH YOUR OK
