Love that one! "You are a beast! No, no, not a beast.....Obese"

hahahahha.....hilarious!

I'm not fat, I'm festively plump.

why don't you stop going on about how other people look? it really isn't any of your business is it?
I bet your sister has a few things she could say about you too.

Yes my profile contains pictures of my obese self, I am sooooo fat!

The main thing is if people are happy with their weight, then curb your tongue and let them get on with it. A shame, you've had a fall out with your sister. Deep down, she knows you are right. In this case, if you love her, say you will just have to agree to differ.

Many years ago, when I was a teenager, it was taboo to call people fat, but I was teased for being naturally thin. It works both ways.

There is no such thing as pleasantly plump! FAT is FAT!! People who use other words to describe being fat are waddling in that lovely Egyptian river....Denial (the nile!)

You Lounge Lizzards are all alike. Criticise but you forget to look in the mirror and most importantly the person inside all that blubber. They may be lumps and they have feelings. Has anybody stepped on your fat head lately. Sounds like you had a heated argument over everyone Else's weight. Look at the person within and find ways you can help them be the person they should be. You get a lot of flys with sugar than you do with vinegar. I hope all of you can set aside your differences and resolve the issues by talking and sharing the new information you are going to find that will help them. You Beeest, LOL........

Hey some people like them pleasantly plump. THe old "obese" excuse is a common one for people that just don't know what there doing when drawing blood, funny how they blame the patient for their lack of skill, huh?? Why don't we call you a skinny bastard??

Well, it is good that you are concerned for your sister, but maybe you could have approached her differently about the subject. Don't just come right out and say "You are fat" Say something like "Your weight may cause some health problems and I love you and don't want to see you go down hill." Women are very sensitive about these things, ya know?

But, the whole thing about pleasantly plump.. I think if a person is a few pounds over their ideal weight, then it can be considered pleasantly plump, but if they are very overweight, there isn't anything plesant about the health problems that go along with obesity.

Lol about the a beast thing though. Someone I know says it "Obeste" and it made me think of that.

It depends on her body fat percentage, not her weight and for a women that age the percent of body allowed is higher anyway so she is perhaps not overfat at all. She would be best to check with a doctor who can check her body fat percentage.

But I think you are being a bit cruel to your sister, sorry but there is no need to be so callous about it. If you are concerned about her health then fine, but it sounds like you are more concerned about her appearance and it's making you come across as just plain shallow.

well for a start 'pleasantly plump' is a euphemism for overweight anyway. yeah i'd call her fat, but i do have an eating disorder so dont listen to me, but i am 5'7 and 100lbs, so she is huge in comparison. but you shouldn't comment about peoples weight, its very personal and you probably hurt her feelings. if she's overweight then its her issue, no-one else
