Workout for my bodytype?!


Question: I'm a skinny young boy (5'10, 60kg)

What workout would be best for me ?
I have dumbells, & i can probably use the gym 2-3 times a week.

you're body type would be an ectomorph. If you are looking to build muscle you should simply focus on a high protein diet and intense weight training. There is no workout for a body type. You have to decide what you want to do and what gains you want. Then a workout can be designed to help you reach your goals. email me and i can give you some help.

Cardio and weight training should get you to be in the shape that you want. Weight training strenghthens your muscles, and cardio strengthens you heart and lungs.

Eating would be best. Working out is secondary; diet is first.

A better predictor for a work out would be how you carry your fat & muscle as well as your current fitness level.

A basic workout for most people is:

Some cardio work 3x a week for at least 30 mins- Running, Swimming, Dancing, Aerobics, Walking.

Some strength training 2x a week for at least 25 mins- Weight lifting,

Of course depending on what you want (overall fitness, stronger legs and thighs, stronger stomach, better looking arms) you can tailor your workout to what you want. Try these sites. There the ones that I have found to be the most helpful.
