Gyms in Denver?!
Question: I'm moving to Denver in about 2 months. Does anyone have any recommendations of good gyms to join and their membership fees? (Preferably one that offers yoga and especially kickboxing classes.) I appreciate your help!

It really depends on your budget. The cheapest major gyms that offer the yoga and kickboxing classes you want are Bally's, Colorado Athletic Club and 24 Hour Fitness. They will cost about $30 a month (give or take) and they will most likely try to make you sign a long term agreement. I belong to Bally's and go to the one on Colorado Blvd and to be honest, I think it's a dump. The equipment is old and it's too crowded during after-work hours. Colorado Athletic Club is supposed to be filled with old people. I've heard 24 Hour Fitness is nicer than Bally's and CO Athletic Club, so you should check that out.
On the nicer end: Check out Matrix, Cherry Creek Athletic Club, or the Coors Fitness Center (the University of Denver gym). They will cost around $80-$100 per month, but they are much nicer, classier and less crowded than the above mentioned major corporate gyms.
I also belong to a rock climbing gym, which is awesome and a lot more of a positive environment than Bally's. It's $50 a month. Here's the website: http://www.rocknandjamn.com/
Also, for yoga, you should try Core Power Yoga (website: www.corepoweryoga.com ) They have some really good hot yoga classes that are 10 times better than the classes at Bally's. Plus, the first week is free.
