Fasting Question..?!

Question: My doctor made me see a dietition (sp?). My dietition has imformed me that I need to fast (not eat) for either one day a week, or three days in a row, once a month. Which one of these would be more beneficial in weight loss? (I would ask my dietition, but I lost his phone number, so in order for me to talk to him, he has to call me first!) Thank you.

Go for the once a week thing, that should help you with your weight. GOOD LUCK!

3 days in a row could get seriously dangerous. I can't believe a dietition would recommend that. Once a week is much safer, if at all.

once a week

Find a phone book woman!!!!
And fasting isnt good at all unless you have constipation problems, i suggest that you just eat fiber little by little every few days and that you should work out regularly if its for a weight loss or diabetic thing.

Why would a Dr tell you to fast???? That is NEVER a healthy way to loose weight or effective.Your body will hold on to the fat because you are starving your body.
He sounds like a quack!

you should definatley go for one day a week because not eating gets obsessive and could lead to a serious eating disorder. just fast for one day a week and keep healthy. good luck :)

once a week is easier. if u do 3 day in a row u will be weak and tired. its hard!

good luck

give me tips on how to do that
