Drink lots of (unsweetened) fluids, eat lots of fiber, avoid ALL red meat, eat lots of green vegetables, and get plenty of exercise, particularly low-impact aerobic exercise. Eat the same amount of food you normally eat, every day, but spread it out over 6 to 8 meals, instead of just 1 or 2 meals. Don't eat anything fried. Avoid stress. Your bed-time should be no less than 4 hours after your last meal. So, if you normally sleep at 10:00 p.m. finish your last meal of the day by 6:00 p.m.

drink too much water

Aim for 2 pounds a week for healthy weight loss. Eat your fruits and veggies, whole grains like brown rice, barley, wheat..etc. You also will want to do cardio like jogging, jump roping, dancing or brisk walking for a t least 30 minutes a day. Its best to do cardio in the morning before breakfast because your body will burn stored fat for energy..good luck

The Biggest Loser contestants seem to just melt those pounds away healthily.. but I don't know how that would apply to real-world people.

I think 10 weeks is too short for 45 lbs. Don't set unrealistic goals for yourself as you could end up eating way too little to reach your "deadline." How about 45 lbs in 20 weeks instead?

it's all about how balance your meals are and how strong your metabolism is. add fruit and veggies to every meal. Change white food such as white bread, pasta, rice, to whole grain like brown bread, pasta, and rice.

I lost 55 pounds and 5.5 inches from my waist by cleansing my body. I used a great system that gives the body nutrition and also helps to cleanse it of the toxins, chemicals, pesticides and preservatives.
