Why am I always hungry?!

Question: Hey everyone...I don't know why, but lately I've been feeling extremely hungry almost all the time...I don't know why!! I'm 14 years old and I'm a gymnast. I train 10 hours a week, so I am very active. I try to stay away from junk food so I usually eat a lot more of things like 100 calories packs snacks, peanuts, granola bars, etc. But I have been feeling faint and dizzy in school and at gymnastics practice and getting headaches even if I just ate like an hour before!! Can somebody please tell me what's wrong?? Thanks!

it's probably a combination of 2 things.

you are not consuming enough calories for "your" daily level of activity and probably not consuming enough water. dehydration will send false signals of hunger to the brain. feeling faint and dizzy is definetly an indicator of low blood sugar.

100 calorie packs are junk, they are heavily processed food items. reading the list of ingredients tells you that it's loaded with chemicals that the human body just does not need. the only truly healthy foods are those provided by mother nature, foods made by man are not healthy despite what the manufactures of them may claim.

Are you sure there is not a possibility of you being pregnant?

maybe you are not eating right and vitamins can help your body when you are doing all that training that you do go to your doctor he should help you but keep up the good work and i hope everything turn out okay
