This sounds like your natural body weight. Mine is on the higher average end and it's not all that fun either when I kill myself at the gym and eat scupulously well! Anyway, I had a friend in high school who was 5'8" and barely 100 lbs. I was 5'8" and 160 lbs! We were quite the pair. She was beautiful in her way and I was in mine. Eat right, even when your as thin as you are. Eat plenty of protein, snack on nuts, veggies and whole grains. Exercise! Lift weights, high weight, low rep. This really helps in gaining weight and some serious muscle as well as getting cut. Your thin already and gaining muscle will be different for you, maybe even better than for us girls who are on the heavier side. As the fat turns to muscle, it shows through but it takes a lot of time. I've been lifting for 1 year and it's now just starting to look freakin good! I'm jealous of you and the fact that it may not take you as long. You'll gain it, just gain it right...Good Luck!

yeah i like em chunky

i know its hard..but i am opposite of u..i just wish i could lose some weight..my dad is like u though..no matter how hard he tries, he dont gain weight..try drinking ensure...

In b4 meat jokes

It's not bad! You feel as good as you wanna feel! It just depends on peoples prefernce!

does not matter

Well its better having some I think so people think ur not anorexic

It helps when they are deciding who to eat.

Enjoy it while you can. Eat and eat. When you get older, things will change and you will wish you were skinny again.

Well skinny is bad cause I mean it kinda means ur like anorexic u need to eat more food comeon go to a local buffet or something I mean guys these days only go for them thick chicks wit nice thighs and hips and chest and legs and stuff and especially butt! :)

Being skinny is not all that good. Being fat sucked for me, but being skinny was never my objective. Being HEALTHY is "all that good."

My advice is that you are still very young. You will fill out. Don't bother trying to gain weight right now. Just allow your body to grow to its fullest. You have lots of time.

I like a little meat as well.

try working out more, and you'll want to eat more.

You'll gain weight throughout adolescence. Don't worry about it - as long as you are eating well, exercising, and getting the right amount of sleep, your body is fine.

my brother is the same way . try getting your thyroid levels checked by your doctor . it controls your metabolism and if its overactive it can be difficult to gain weight. good luck!

being skinny is good. but being bones isn't. i suggest that you gain weight. but being over weight is a problem as well. being in the middle helps.

Well you're 13 so I think at this point your body is concentrating on growing vertically, and once that is done it will work on filling itself out. You're young so you can't expect to have curves overnight. It's probably better that you don't have those yet, that way boys will leave you alone and you will keep out of trouble.

i am just like u . i cant gainwait no matter what and people r always saying im to skinny and most of them r huge so i just tell them better than being your size . but really i think u feel the same wather big or little. hope i helped .

Pasta, bread, whole fat milk, cheese, ice cream...eat up!! You can also get a high calorie shake from GNC's or other health food store.

i know some people like that.... they can't gain weight no matter WHAT. but anyways, just learn to love your body!! accept what you can't change. you are also still young... when you get older you will fill out a little bit

Youre one of those people who can eat so much...AND GAIN NOTHING...its not your fault. When youre older, the fat will catch up to you so dont eat a lot...just eat like a normal person. youll get all the fat that you wouldve had in your 20s or 30s....

my cousin is like that...SHE IS SOOOOOOOOO SKINNY.

it has its ups and downs. for me i always get asked if im anorexic, or even today my teacher said that i was probably the lightest in the whole class. ive honestly NEVER weighed more than 95 pounds. also, all my jeans are 0 and 00. all of which are too big, yea its pretty gay >_<. the ups though, are that you dont have to worry abouut being made fun of, and you will have a high self concious.(sp).

really it just depends, cause sometimes for my best friend, she is super skinny and she has no boobs really, but for me im still super skinny but because im short, i got boobs.

like i said, ups and downs.

enjoy it you are lucky...

try doing weights to build muscles on your arms. when you gain weight as muscles, it turns to fat when you stop exercising, so that would help you a bit.
caculating your BMI would help. i used to think that i was a bit too skinny, even though i eat lots, but because i'm short my bmi was healthy.
if you eat lots of fruit and vegetables, tuna and seedy, wholemeal bread, plus lots of nuts, it will fill your body with the good nurtients, fats, and give you lots of energy!!
good luck.

I was the same when I was 13. But don't worry, things will work out. Right now your body's still growing, so all your food goes towards that. But once your growing slows down, you'll gain more weight.
