Protein Shake as a replacement = Weight Gain Or Weight loss?!


Question: I just posted this question. But now im thinking, will this make me Gain?!?!!!?!?!

Protein and other Amino Acids are the BUILDING BLOCKS OF LIFE.

when ingested, they are either used to create a piece of yoru body (ie hair, skin, muscle, etc), or they are peed out when not used. More often than not they are peed out.

In regards to weight loss, eat small but frequent healthy snacks throughout the day and keep your life as active as possible. Accelerate your heartrate.

This is what I do for a living BTW.

It can depend on the protein you take in. There are low sugar, low carb whey proteins shakes that gastric bypass patients use daily, you may want to look into that.

Champion Whey Protein Stack is one I recommend. It may not promote weightloss, but it certainly couldn't hurt.

If you want a healthy shake you can have protein shakes that are low in fat and about 5g-8g of protein in each drink. Just drink them to replace meals, not to have with meals.

Most body builders drink protein shakes to put on muscle, because while body building the body requires a lot of protein. If you are not body building, your body doesn't need all that protein.

If I was you... I'd lose weight by eating more fruits and vegetables and one protein shake a day in the morning before noon, so that you don't feel 'hungry'.

They do not work. (all they are is ground up soy or rice)which costs 5 cents to make, then they sell it for ten bucks.--My GF isan RN, think about it (this is why they must make such wonderful claims) Example: only 2 payments of $19.95 (be honest has any of those items delivered?) God Bless you

Get a protein shake with no carbs.. Stay away from the carbs. wheat is ok. only eat white after a workout because your body uses it right away.

it depends on your caloric intake but it might be a very small gain because muscle is more dense than fat. but i will also make you burn fat to you look more trim
