Answers: Anyone know the best way to tone and tighten the abdominals besides surgery?

Pilates and/or yoga is by far the best way to strengthen your abdominals. You will end up with a solid, stong core, and not just work one piece of your abdomen. One of my favorite ab exercises involves using a stability ball. Lie on your back with the ball gripped by your ankes, come up into a V and grab the ball with your hands , then lie back down flat. Go back up into the V and put the ball back inbetween your ankles. About 5 of these and you will really feel it.

Try doing some sit-ups or crunches....if you don't have a lot of time just do some in the morning and before you go to bed. I don't know if you eat out a lot but if you do cut back. Eating out tastes so good but does a number on your belly. :) good luck

Swimming is a good total body workout. It is virtually impossible to spot tone, you need to do cardio and weight traning.....or something that is a good combination of both such as swimming.

ya, the ball sounds like it will do the job for your abdominals to tighten up
