I have a drinking problem?!

Question: OK. I have been drinking at least 6 bottles of water a day, for about a week or two. I've lost 6 pounds. NOW I RAN OUT OF WATER! I will not drink my tap water, because it has metal, (i've heard) in it. I have a whole thing og DIET PEPSI.
I am on a diet, and I hate juice and tea. So my only choices are tap water, and diet pepsi.

Which one should I drink? (my parents won't go out and get the bottled kind. I like the Deer Park kind!)

Sounds like you need a water filter, it's cheaper then bottled water. Why can't someone take you to get some bottled waters, i don't understand, by the way the best bottled water to drink is Fiji water. As far as diet Pepsi i personally would never drink it because it has Aspartame, it is an artificial sweetener man made chemical and will actually cause wight gain. It is so toxic that the US government prohibits commercial pilots from drinking any diet soda.

Also a great beverage to drink to loose wight is organic Yerba Mate tea.

drink both. tap water has metal but element metal, tap water is good for you it has a bunch of vitamins and mierals. pepsi tastes good but diet stuff tastes bad.

Did you know that tap water is more regulated then bottled water?
Unless there is something wrong with your tap water, (if you live in a contaminated area or something) then it's very safe. Tap water is held to a higher standard then bottled water, you're much more likely to get sick from you deer park brand then your tap water.

drink water diet pepsi makes you more thirsty plus it has empty calories

diet pepsi wouldnt make u lose any weight really (you're losing water weight) so I would ask them again for the water. If nothing really happens....wat's wrong with juice lol? Can't you buy some water for yourself in one of those HUGE packs or something?

Unless you sweat A LOT!! during the day, 6 bottles is way too much in my educated answer. A lot of water comes from food (at least 10%) and your body can only handle a certain amount of water, because if you drink too much your body can't get rid of it fast enough and you could potentially die from it! (Don't mean to scare you, but it's the truth. There've been stories in the news of people dying because they drank too much water.) Drink orange juice or some sort of fruit drink that has nutrients in it and some water....

DO NOT drink the diet pepsi. Its really not good for you- all the fake sugar, etc. I would drink the tap water. I know that I prefer bottled water MUCH over tap water. The aren't harmful in the amounts that are in the water. Of course, when you can drink bottled water, drink it. For now, drink the tap water. Perhaps you can buy a filter for your tap. That will remove some of the metals.

Vitamin Water is da bomb! I know that i could drink it all day. My fav is the pink one!
Hope this helped!

Read some studies about tap water and you will find that it is basically the same as bottled water - if not just as 'safe'. It does taste a bit different but putting ice in the water will enlighten the taste. Good luck.

See if your parents will spring for a Brita filter pitcher or faucet attachment{there are other brands, the names escape me} and that way they don't have to waste money on the bottled stuff. Stay away from any soda when dieting, or otherwise. It is so very bad for you!

You can always boil the tap water to take out the imputities, then put it in the fridge to get cold. I love Pepsi, but am also on a diet and wouldnt go near it, even if it is diet.

tap water,I think diet pepsi as well as most diet drinks have sugar or sacharine in them,no good if you on a diet.
