Am i anorexic? plz help?!


Question: im a 15 year old GUY, 5 9' and about 112lbs, and i only eat about 1000-1500 calories a day. im always feeling guilty about eating tho, i work my abs and do pushups everynight and i fell sick and hungry sometimes at night, am i anorexic im not super skinny and still have some fat, im fine with, plz help?!?!?

It's not good if you feel guilty about eating. The more active you are, the more calories you need, and you need more than 1500. Stop worrying about caloires and just eat healthy filling foods. I don't think you're anorexic, but might become one if you don't change your habits.

not unless your purposley not eating then no your fine, just eat until your full, dont worry : D

The disorder is thought to be most common among people of higher socioeconomic classes and people involved in activities where thinness is especially looked upon, such as dancing, theater, and distance running.

ok i am a girl and at 13 i weighed the same as you. and was 5 1'. man you got to start eating more. but healthy. only have junk 3 times a week.

No. Well, kinda... You shouldn't feel ashamed about eating. You're only human. So is everyone else. We NEED to eat.

Pushups and things like that aren't weird. I do situps in bed before sleeping!

Anyway... If you're obsessed with being thin, I'd just like to let you know that becoming fat isn't about how much you eat, but rather WHAT you eat.

e.g. Chili peppers burn fat, while chocolate (Oh so glorious chocolate!) does the exact opposite.

If you want to be thin, eat right. Eat healthy and enjoy it! Don't think you're so fat, you need to be thinner to make people happy about you cuz all you do when starving yourself is scare them.

yea it sounds like you might be anorexic....try to get some help bc its not good that your feeling sick. its difficult not feeling like this when it becomes a routine..if you're very concern about getting or looking fat, just exercise but don't deprive yourself from eating what you want and need.
